How to Read the IPO Schedule
What does this screen show?
This screen displays newly listing public offering companies whose subscription deadlines have not passed, ordered by nearest deadline. Cards are grouped as open, this week, next week, and later. Each card shows the company name, subscription status, subscription period, a summary of the offering price, offering size, and an estimate of the minimum subscription deposit, plus the sector and lead underwriter. Clicking a card expands to show a company introduction (an excerpt of the main business section of the registration statement), the payment date, total offering amount, number of shares, CEO, website, a link to the original filing, and use of proceeds. A selector above the list lets you hide SPACs (special purpose acquisition companies).
How is the list generated?
The site searches for companies that filed registration statements (equity securities) with DART within the last 60 days. If the same company submitted an initial filing along with multiple amendments, only the latest filing is kept. Because follow-on offerings, such as paid-in capital increases by companies already listed on KOSPI or KOSDAQ, use the same filing type, only unlisted companies are kept. For each company, the subscription period and offering details are read from the key registration statement data. We exclude companies whose subscription deadlines fall before today. The sector converts the sector code from the company overview into a sector name.
What does each item mean?
- Subscription period: The start and end dates for applying for offering shares
- Offering price: The per-share offering price stated in the registration statement
- Payment date: The date when subscribing investors pay for the allocated shares
- Total Offering and Shares: The total amount raised and the number of shares issued in this offering
- Use of proceeds: The purpose and breakdown of raised funds listed in the statement (facility funds, working capital, issuance expenses, etc.)
- Lead underwriter: The brokerage firm managing the public offering
- Subscription status: "Upcoming" before the subscription starts and "Open" while it is running, each with the days left until the start or the deadline. If the deadline is today or has passed, the card shows "Closes today"
- SPAC: A special purpose acquisition company, identified by an acquisition-company or SPAC wording in the Korean company name; its card carries a SPAC label
- Minimum subscription deposit (estimate): The offering price multiplied by 10 shares with a 50% deposit rate applied. The minimum quantity and deposit rate vary by broker and issue, so the actual amount can differ
- Original filing: A link that opens the registration statement on DART
- Offering size: The total offering amount shortened to units of 100 million won (10 thousand won when under 100 million). The exact amount is the total offering amount shown when you expand a card
The total offering amount generally equals the offering price multiplied by the number of shares, making it possible to catch data entry errors by cross-checking these three figures. Because the use of proceeds is itemized, the sum of individual line items may not exactly match the total offering amount.
Where does the data come from and when is it updated?
All items are official structured fields provided by the DART Open API. The system queries them twice daily during automated updates starting around 3:35 PM KST and 9:32 AM KST the next day. The date at the top of the screen shows the last update. The screen calculates the subscription status and remaining days based on the date of your access in Korea.
What are the limits and precautions?
This screen does not include expected price bands, confirmed offering prices, institutional demand survey results, subscription competition rates, or scheduled listing dates, as DART does not provide these in structured format. The offering price comes from the registration statement and may differ from the final confirmed price, and it changes if the statement is amended. Because the system classifies listing status based on filing criteria, non-new offerings may rarely be included or new offerings omitted. Investors must verify details directly with underwriters and original disclosures before subscribing. This screen organizes disclosed schedules, does not indicate future offering results or post-listing stock prices, and is not investment advice.
